Sciacca,is the family name of our store’s designers and owners, Peter and Sigrid Sciacca (pronounced “shock-kah”). (Their name is also shared by a small fishing port and village on the island of Sicily!). The Sciaccas’ started their business in 1991 providing signature glassware to large restaurant chains and liquor companies. They were getting requests from smaller restaurants and individuals for unique glassware but couldn’t supply them until di Sciacca was opened in 2005 in hip historic downtown Chandler.
